It’s a cover up….again…. this time a classic can opener gets ballooned.
Two cork placemats trapping a balloon… kind of a big pearl…. i don’t know???
Back from France with my fancy french sweeping brush and then I added my old trainer…wished I’d bought another one now.
French milk bottle with stickers… i like them as worry lines as it suits me.
Kind of Disney inspired as I bought these sticky eyes there today… with drinking straws and yogurt pot – makes a squid or jelly fish.
Leffe bier cork thingy used as strawberry protection in transit…
more French holiday ones to follow…
tubes inside tubes – straws, toilet roll tube, can, makedo – I have..
Polystyrene Cups with bottoms cut out and cleaning cloths rolled up inside….
A sponge squashed into a tic tac sweet box…I’ll be taking this on my hols to Paris tomorrow!
French inspired objects to come??
Little lampshade eyes for my transformer #118. with cake cases and cups.
Cup cake cases stuck to a balloon – I must get more serious… I like how light and delicate this one is though…
polystyrene cups with holes and joined with a balloon…looks a bit like a sailor too??
A lazy one but I kinda like it… a crown silver light bulb in a tin can, might be a ball and socket joint?
4 clips, clipped together…
paper clip big clips
2 for 1 – Elastic bands and cocktail sticks….
Had fun with 25 multi sockets as they were on offer at local supermarket at 25 pence each… Impressed my son with this one when I lit it up . This one looks a lot better in real life.
Back to some silliness… balloon blown up with elastic band on – it adds definition… Realised afterwards it looks like a…..
Made with the brilliant
Makedo reusable system for Earthday!
Balloons on top of yogurt pots…. I love how covering things with balloons adds colour and curves.
Hmmmm… I have been wanting to dye a mop for a few weeks now, finally did it today and now I’ve forgotten why. I guess it subverts your normal reaction to it.
Ok, so it should be called mug plug hole, but I like to keep things simple and the rhyme is probably the only reason I went with this today, other experiments never panned out… I also must say something to everyone who is following this project… Thankyou!
So…. I had this switch stuck on a can for ages, then today I put a candle in the can to get the idea but thought it would be better on just a bigger candle. I think having two switches makes it even weirder…
Not sure I want to turn this into a milestone but I have…. Found some water taps in the garage and I turned to one of my reliable friends the tin can and voila….
So I picked up a box of paper clips and a pack of playing cards and started to play… Ideally I wanted them to be all connected together but I started this too late, so they are stood up.
Two jars held together with mesh…might be a vase. Obviously The Star Wars reference makes it.
I haven’t tried it yet… bristles from a sweeping brush replacing..
Watering can and rubberglove…..makes a funny noise,
A bit silly but why change a habit…but at least I made it work.
26 sponges rolled up and put into the holes of a dog ball toy – becomes small human toy.
For some reason I felt I should make my own mop, then spotted a bag of elastic bands and finished off with a plunger handle. It would be quite useless as a mop, I’ll try and discovery another use for it…7/10
I tried different ways to contain and make a mop stand up, then I remembered I had this mesh…
In case you drill the wrong hole, you could now rub it out… it’s all getting a bit surreal.
Cheese polisher or Dust grater?
A world made from a toilet float….
A washing up roller made using 18 sponge scourers and elastic bands.
I have made hundreds of can clocks in workshops etc. it was nice to mess with the idea a bit…with a large catering Tin can.
Led keyring torch stuck in a plug…
I liked how this battery and magnet could be used as a base for something…. so I gave it another copper top.
Duracell + magnet + scourer = an object that couldn’t be more useless – I love it.
I’ve been playing with fire….
Tried to just make a small side table but had some wood left and made a small stool…anyway I think this has legs… probably needs instructions with bag to make something more sculptural..
One for the kids…2 cans, 2 bucket handles, 4 grommets and one hot water bottle….
so…elastic band, screw, funnel and peg. I like how the elastic band is stretched inside and the peg stops the screw from flinging out.
Messing about with a door stop, discovered a pencil fits then tried to make it more interesting with string…
#4 added to #26
Does this mean i’m struggling? Scrubbing paint…
Plastic milk bottles have hardly any redeeming features to exploit….here are just the handles…
This is just weird….
A B&Q lamp with a new shade – a toilet float from a cistern.
I like the idea of buying a light from a shop and the shade from the plumbing section.
This took me 3 attempts as the other two bucket handles snapped so I wafted this one over the fire.
Ikea is pretty everyday now…this is the bit I never use and pine cones.
This was one of three I made today check
extra pics to see others, debatable if it was the best one…
Well, the handle from the brush was going spare…i’ll stay away from pencils for now.
J cloth, Embroidery ring and pen…i’m so fake
Hands that do dishes…this was fun.
Mop with milk bottle tops knotted on…one for the kids…musical?
